VATSIM - Online Flying

Welcome pilots to the VATSIM wing of TransOceanic.

What is VATSIM?... VATSIM - "Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network," is an online flying experience where you the Microsoft pilot can utilize downloadable software tools for connecting to the VATSIM flight network, from your own PC. Pilots utilize FSINN or Squawkbox software the links are posted below.

Once connected to the VATSIM network you are in contact with a real life individual who is the ATC Controller. He or she will give you instructions for departure, flights and arrivals just like the real world!

Although TransOceanic Virtual Airlines is not as of yet an affiliated airline with the VATSIM Network, we are indeed fully encourage pilot participation due to the realism allowed when utilizing this online experience. TransOceanic Pilots should use the IATA - "TOV" then there pilot number when flying as a callsign on the VATSIM Network. By using this IATA code, pilots who would like to use ACARS here at TransOceanic will be able to have fellow pilots and visitors alike see their flights real-time at the TVA, ACARS flight map room.
