--KMSP Scenery Released--

Today the 5th of February the TransOceanic Graphic Arts Department has released the first in a series of TVA sceneries for our pilots and staff to enjoy!

Stock Microsoft FSX textures are utilized for static objects, in order to have minimal effect on framerates.

This scenery primarily encompasses our main headquarters building and hangars once occupied by NWA.

Although not required our KMSP scenery is enhanced with the use of Blueprint Simulations (http://www.blueprintsimulations.com), KMSP Scenery.

The TVA KMSP for FSX scenery file, 'TVA_KMSP_FSX.zip' is located at the TVA Scenery website.

Questions or comments about the scenery may be forwarded to 'support@transoceanicva.com'.

Happy Flying!!

<description>Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN [January 13, 2010]

Happy New Year and Best Wishes to all for a healthy and prosperous 2010!

Checkout the latest updates at our Screenshots site.

In addition we apologize for our delay in launching the KMSP scenery. Trouble with FSX placing static aircraft issues are being worked out, and we will soon post news update on revised launch date. This will not occur again with latter scenery releases, the next to be Dublin, Ireland, release date to be announced at time of scenery completion.

We are still in need of anyone interested in helping out with the testing of our FSAcars system. We have been busy debugging, not sure upon the automated PIREP operation as of yet.

Lastly check out our new aircraft paint scheme being released in 2010... The images are portrayed for the A319, B757 and B767 thus far. Files with textures not yet uploaded. We hope everyone enjoys this new pattern, to carry us through the next decade!

Happy Flying!!

<description>Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN - June 18, 2009

TransOceanic's HR poll posted on May 11th and ran for it's 30 day polling period, resulted in the following:

- Question proposed as to whether we as a virtual airline should move toward a VATSIM affiliation?

* A 66% poll response was somewhat in favor.

With this majority it was clear that TransOceanic membership majority is pleased with our current operations of free flights chosen from our extensive, and growing flight schedule, and the vast number of flyable payware and freeware aircraft!

With these results TransOceanic will focus on the following:

- Continue to expand it's worldwide flight schedules.

- Focus on creating terrific add-on scenery KMSP nearing completion!, although one month behind schedule.

- TransOceanic Skunk Works in coordination with Aircraft Maintenance will continue to deliver fresh factory repaints.

- TransOceanic HR department will focus on completing the use of FSacars and incorporating into our database system allowing pilots to display their flights live on our website then post PIREP directly to our website without the requirement of logging in, unless desired. Both options will be available.
